Urban Ecology

It was in the year 1975 that urban ecology got established by different campaigners and builders. They believe in building up cities which serve both the nature and the people. Urban planning has been used from urban technology for designing and building healthier cities. We take our work very seriously and our strength is using the creative ideas. It was in the year 1970 that one of the founders grew a vegetable patch in his Pontiac car and the car was known as veggie car.

In the year 1985 urban ecology had worked with the people of Berkeley for creating the plan for Milvia for creating safe roads for the pedestrians and cyclists. Urban ecology has also worked towards developing new transportation rules MTC. They have also organized first Ecocity conference in the year 1990 and it was attended by more than five hundred people from different countries. People put forward different ideas and participated in the debates. Different awards have been won by urban ecology and blueprint continues to be the main reason for their success.

They basically address to the complex topics and over the years urban ecology has been associated with the publication of two newsletters. The focus of the teachers and the students is towards the professional development. It is our best effort that the communities are understood in a better way. We also offer different technical tools, curricula, designing. It is our effort to make the students capable enough to be successful in the challenging economy. We actively participate in the regional and city developments so that fit communities are built.

We take the ideas from different communities, designing neighborhoods and supporting a change. With the help of blueprint particular proposals are highlighted for the action and fulfilling different roles. We are equipped with charts and maps for the purpose of detailed analysis and the blueprint really play an important role in building the place.
